Solid Image, Inc. was founded in 2005 by owner, Warren Reid. Before entering into the countertop fabrication business full time, Warren owned a succesful custom home building business which was built on customer service, integrity, and quality craftsmanship.

He began fabricating countertops by hand in a 16 x 40 pole building at his home in Laurel, DE. Upon purchasing a CNC router, Warren moved the operation to a refurbished chicken house where he continued to grow his business.

In fall of 2005, he opened a 2,400 square foot showroom and office in the Laureltown shopping center overlooking Broad Creek in downtown Laurel. The showroom features several different countertop products and colors, as well as, different countertop edge profiles.

Following market trends, he began fabricating natural granite and engineered quartz in 2006 at another shop location on Rt. 13, South of Laurel. Finally, in May of 2007, he combined both shop facilities to a 15,000 square foot building in Laurel.

Today, Solid Image has grown from a small countertop fabrication company to a well known supplier of countertop surfaces for not only residential projects, but commercial projects as well. Some of our commercial projects include several fast food restaurants, real estate offices, locally owned restaurants, convenience stores, car dealerships, and medical facilities.
